I wanted to complete an ironman 70.3 and was training for this. I trained hard and in an unstructured way and made little progress. Since I have been guided by Dennis, I have much more structure and variety in my training sessions and I am making much more progress. The structure and weekly schedules make it perfect to combine with my full-time job and family. Because I no longer overtrain myself, I also have much more energy for everything around it. When I have questions about a training, I always get an answer almost immediately. An adjustment in the weekly schedule is never a problem either. In short, because of Dennis I still enjoy what I do, the quality of my training is high and it can also be perfectly combined with family work and other hobbies.

I used to race for the 70.3 Ironman nearly 8 years ago and it became part of me and our family lifestyle. I took a break to start a family but I always knew I wanted to get back into the game sooner than later. But any family with young kids can relate when I say it is not easy finding the time and place to get the job done and to be competitive again. I always thought it would not be possible for me to qualify and race again at the world championship BUT than I met Dennis and I started to train with him and wow now I know my dreams can and will be in reach.

Onder begeleiding van Dennis train ik voor de halve marathon van Schoorl. Voordat ik Dennis leerde kennen trainde ik onregelmatig en altijd op mijn maximum. Voor het eerst zet ik op een relaxede manier leuke tijden neer! Door de op maat gemaakte schema's en zijn enthousiasme is het sporten nog leuker geworden!

Dennis helpt mij goed mijn zwemtechniek te verbeteren d.m.v. het analyseren van mijn filmpjes. Hij komt met nuttige tips en neemt altijd de tijd om te helpen.

After a few years of inactivity and letting the busy life of work and small kids be my excuse for not running anymore, I wanted to be more active again and feel better, without all the aches and pains each morning while losing some of the extra kgs I gained. I asked Dennis to help me get into shape again, to start slow and to consider that going 100% after all the years of inactivity would be hard for me. He listened attentively, adjusted my schedule as needed and always checks in to see how I felt. I can highly recommend him for whichever goal you may have! He's very knowledge-able and is always available for a chat when you need him.

Na een lange tijd weinig te sporten en een zeer slechte conditie leerde ik Dennis kennen. Door zijn overtuiging en schema’s op maat ben ik weer gaan hardlopen (en zwemmen). We zijn nog aan het opbouwen, maar het voelt steeds beter en het belangrijkste: ik heb het plezier in hardlopen weer gevonden! Thanks Dennis!!
